Ahmad al Fozan
"My craft is a valuable thing that my father taught me, that I'm also passing to my son and daughter. Handicrafts have always ensured a decent living for my family" Ahmad Al Fozan
Ahmad Al Fozan’s beautifully carved woodwork harkens back to the intricately designed and brightly painted doors of historic Najd mud homes. Ahmad, who hails from Qassim, used to watch his father as he sawed, chiseled and hammered locally-sourced wood to create pieces of art. Today, Ahmad is a master artisan and is passing his knowledge on to his own son Abdullah. Ahmad uses natural pigments to create panels of artwork for commissions across the Kingdom.
