Bisht Cushions

The bisht cushion is an homage to the traditional Arabian robe, made of locally sourced wool fabric and embroidered with thick golden thread. The hand embroidery of bisht is difficult to master and only a few artisans practise it today. The bisht cushions made by Turquoise Mountain supported artisans come from Hofuf.
