Katherine Parr's Unity and Diversity Collection, designed by Katherine and handcrafted by artisans supported by Turquoise Mountain in Kabul, was inspired by the diverse culture and history of the Persian Empire and the common hope we all share for unity around the world. The collection showcases the work of Afghan craftspeople as well as the rich local natural resources found in Afghanistan. Symbolic cultural motifs from history such as wheat sheaves and Persian suns have been incorporated into many of the designs of this collection and each piece is handcrafted from start to finish.
